NextNav Appoints Lisa Hook to Board of Directors as Lead Independent Director

NextNav Inc., a provider of next-generation positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) technologies, has announced the appointment of Lisa Hook to its Board of Directors, effective February 24, 2026.

Hook will serve as the company’s Lead Independent Director and join both the Technology and National Defense Committee as well as the Compensation and Human Capital Committee, strengthening governance and strategic oversight as NextNav expands its terrestrial positioning solutions.

Leadership Experience Supporting Strategic Growth

Lisa Hook brings more than three decades of executive leadership and public company board experience across telecommunications, technology, and national security sectors. She currently serves as Managing Partner at Two Island Partners LLC, a private equity and advisory firm.

Previously, Hook served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Neustar, Inc., where she led the company’s transformation into a global information services and analytics provider. Her career also includes senior leadership roles at America Online and Time Warner, along with regulatory experience at the Federal Communications Commission.

Strengthening National Security and Infrastructure Innovation

NextNav’s leadership emphasized that Hook’s expertise in telecommunications policy and critical infrastructure aligns closely with the company’s mission to deliver resilient terrestrial alternatives and backups to GPS systems.
