Infinite Reality (iR), a pioneer in immersive digital media and ecommerce innovation, has exceeded 150 million consumer interactions across its browser-based 3D experiences. These experiences include virtual stores and showrooms built for prominent global brands and government organizations, forming one of the largest datasets on consumer behavior in virtual retail environments.
The milestone reflects a wide range of user engagement activities, including:
- Clicks on product images
- Interactive gameplay like scavenger hunts and quizzes
- Shopping cart actions such as adding products
- Sign-ups for loyalty programs, newsletters, and promotional offers
- Conversations with AI-powered agents
- Video views
- Sharing content on social media
- Interactions with navigational hotspots
These engagements span nearly 500 immersive experiences developed in collaboration with brands like Crate & Barrel, e.l.f. Cosmetics, L’Oréal, J.Crew, Vodafone, Warner Bros. Discovery, Swarovski, and the Ministry of Finance of the UAE. These immersive websites allow visitors to explore photorealistic 3D products, play games, interact with AI-based support, and experience brand storytelling, while seamlessly linking to ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, SAP, Magento, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
This milestone includes interactions across the Obsess and Landvault platforms, which iR acquired in 2025 and 2024 respectively. It does not include data from the newly launched no-code tool iR Studio, music platform Napster, or third-party platforms such as ROBLOX.
“This is a meaningful milestone for our company,” said John Acunto, Co-Founder and CEO of Infinite Reality. “The engagement we’re seeing proves immersive media captures attention and delivers tangible results outside traditional digital channels.”
Proven ROI Through Immersive Commerce
A 2023 Coresight Research study revealed that 88% of brands using immersive commerce see a boost in sales, 77% see increased product clicks, and 67% gain new customers. Real-world success stories from iR include:
- A luxury fashion brand achieved a 75% increase in conversion and a 19% boost in average order value.
- A global toy company saw a 25% higher add-to-cart rate than its ecommerce site.
- A music brand experienced a 39% rise in conversion, selling out exclusive merchandise within a week.
With over 27 million ecommerce stores globally and consumer attention spans shrinking below five seconds, brands are under pressure to deliver captivating experiences that convert. iR’s immersive solutions offer a way to stand out and connect more deeply with consumers.
Gaming-First Generations Demand Visual, Interactive Commerce
More than 80% of U.S. consumers play video games—an even higher percentage among Gen Z and Gen Alpha. These digital natives expect their online experiences to be visually rich, interactive, and immersive. Infinite Reality is tapping into this behavior by blending gaming mechanics with shopping, making 3D environments the next frontier of brand engagement.
Frictionless Access to Immersive Retail
iR’s web-based experiences require no downloads, apps, or headsets, making 3D commerce accessible to all. Fully integrated with ecommerce platforms like Shopify and Salesforce Commerce Cloud, the platform transforms product discovery into an interactive journey. While most of the 150 million interactions to date come from Fortune 500-level brands using iR Enterprise, the launch of iR Studio is democratizing the technology, allowing even small businesses to build their own immersive storefronts with zero coding.
“150 million interactions is just the beginning,” said Samantha Kobrin, VP of Enterprise Marketing at Infinite Reality. “As Gen Z and Gen Alpha dominate the market, we’re meeting them with immersive, gamified shopping experiences that speak their language.”
