Longtime Microsoft executive Nick Parker is stepping away from Redmond after 26 years to join NVIDIA's leadership team, taking on an Executive Vice President role beginning August 24. The move deepens ties between two companies whose partnership has become increasingly central to the future of cloud computing and AI infrastructure.
A Nearly Three-Decade Career at Microsoft
Parker's time at Microsoft began as a Systems Integrator Partnerships Director, and he steadily rose through a series of senior leadership positions across the company's Sales and Marketing organization.
Most recently, he held the position of Chief Business Officer, a role in which he helped shape Microsoft's global commercial strategy and led major market expansion efforts across industries and geographies.

A Bittersweet Farewell
In discussing his departure, Parker described his time at Microsoft as the highlight of his career, expressing deep appreciation for the partners, customers, and colleagues he worked alongside across every segment, industry, and region.
He also stressed that his new role at NVIDIA won't diminish his commitment to the relationship between the two companies, noting that he intends to keep nurturing the strong partnership between them.
